Getting Started

  • The initial consultation is a complimentary call to discuss your needs and goals for therapy. We’ll determine if we might be a good fit to work together and discuss scheduling. This is also a good time for you to ask any questions you have about working with me. I look forward to speaking with you and learning how I can help.

  • I am not an in-network provider for any health insurance plans. If your insurance has out-of-network benefits, it may cover a portion of the fee after your deductible is met. Please contact your insurance provider to determine whether your plan covers meetings with out-of-network providers. I recommend asking these questions to help determine your benefits:

    • Does my plan cover out-of-network outpatient psychotherapy (via telehealth) with a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC)?

    • Do I have an out-of-network deductible? If so, what is it, and have I met it yet?

    • How many sessions per year does my insurance cover?

    • What is the coverage or “allowed amount” per session? This is the amount they will reimburse.

    • Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?

    • How long does reimbursement take?

  • Please contact me for current rates.

  • I accept checks, FSA and HSA cards, and all major forms of credit and debit cards as forms of payment. The fee for the service is charged at the time of service.

    If you have out-of-network benefits your insurance may reimburse some portion of the service. See the “Insurance” section above for additional information.
